Alexandra Grants lineage is full of fellow artists as she was raised in the company of music, dance and performance. Alumnus of Lester B. Pearson School for the Arts and H.B. Beal Secondary School’s musical theatre program, she was surrounded by arts in all her education institutions. This informed her post secondary education which sent her to Randolph College for the Performing Arts in 2015 to continue mastering her craft amongst fellow creatives. She was honoured to be the recipient of the Triple Threat Award and to tackle Leslie Arden’s Canadian musical “MOLL” as the title role.

After graduating from Randolph, Alex secured a contract with Disney Cruise Line. For a year at sea aboard the Disney Dream, Alex performed in "Disney's Believe", "The Golden Mickey's" and "Disney's Beauty and The Beast.” Which the latter received “Best Theatrical Performance" in 2018 selected by The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA). Alex had the opportunity to grace the shoes of Rapunzel and Cinderella as well as understudying Belle, Aurora and many other Disney fan favourites.

After returning to Canada, Alex was invited back to work with Disney and moved to Japan in 2019. She was honoured to work at the infamous Diamond Horseshoe Theatre at Tokyo Disneyland as Slue Foot Sue in “The Horseshoe Roundup” and “Mickey and Company.” Having the opportunity to travel Japan, experience the culture and work with the locals was a truly magical experience for Alex, but unfortunately her time there was cut short due to the pandemic. Post pandemic Alex joined the Oceania Marina with Norwegian Creative Studios for a 6 month contract as a Lead Vocalist.

Last year Alex had the opportunity to make her debut with Drayton Entertainment in "Evita." This lead to her joining the Canadian Actors Equity Association. She will be back with Drayton this summer in "Kiss Me Kate," under the guidance of Broadway veteran, Michael Lichtefeld.
